Will you have confidence in Santa Claus? Jolly Old St. Nicholas is an integral part of western society and many of us matured with this magical icon. Recently I came upon the idea that Santa represents a unique archetype. In Jungian psychology, archetype is identified as an inherited memory represented from the mind with a universal symbol and observed in dreams and myths.

In searching for such symbolic images on this dear old man I discovered that which Santa Claus represents could also be used to motivate us in creating to the new year. I see him as being a fun-loving guy that literally brings us joy, love, excitement and happiness. It’s said he makes all our dreams and wishes becoming reality. In this season we have been filled with expectations, the brilliance of light-filled homes, the fun to be with friends and neighbors to celebrate life, along with the joy and gratitude of giving and receiving.

I learn that santa visits our house reflects several archetypes. He can be seen in the Innocent archetype, helping us to trust, to hope as well as to think that a better day lies ahead. He or she is clearly driven by faith and trust, bring that hope and giving us that faith and the trust that most will be well.

The Caregiver archetype, however, is not within the exercise of power this is the motive, nevertheless the drive to bestow care on those that need it: the care, concern and nurturing they lack but deserve. He or she is about giving to others fulfilling the requirements. And he will not require anything in turn except a cookie, glass of milk or some eggnog. He appears to be an excellent guy, settling on who receives a new Nintendo and who gets t-shirts or shoes. If we are excellent of course, if we believe, Santa will make sure we receive everything we wish.

A significant element of Santa’s story may be the magical transformation from his rising up a chimney from the touch of his nose as well as his yearly trek worldwide. And in addition, his flying reindeer without GPS onboard is nothing short of miraculous, indeed. He magically brings gratitude, compassion and want to all, one child’s heart at one time. Santa will be the quintessential Magician archetype helping us transform and transcend current reality to locate new means of dealing, being and succeeding.

While we are coming up with our dreams, our visions, and our choices for 2010, let’s all make sure to use our Santa Claus model along with the Law of Attraction, Creation and Allowing. When you have chosen then more clearly defined the options in creating your 2010 Journey, use this technique to shift your beliefs and allowing of that that you simply desire.

Sometimes simply the subtle shift from viewing our images from an adult facet of attempting to force, worrying over and wondering how things will change, on the wide-eyed expectations and faith of kids. A key aspect of the skill of Allowing is to let go and let God. Releasing our attachment to old beliefs, ideas and teachings allows us to open to the Infinite Probabilities of the Universe.

Then too, we can liken Santa’s management techniques to a universal manager. Are you able to envision him bringing toys to everyone, world-wide, in only one night? And all of punctually and within budget? That’s what we’re taught the Universe are capable of doing for people like us, whenever we turn it onto God/Source. In the book “Ask & It Is Given” one of the Proven Processes is catchusanta it over to the manager. As we set our goals, it’s like delegating into a Universal Manager. And also as we step back, and enable the Universe set things in position, we CREATE! Remember, we’re not stopping choices, we’re merely turning over every detail and creating our choices.

I urge you to pay attention to giving over to your Universal Manager all the stuff you sense you should do within this holiday week. You’ll think it is amazing that when we shift our focus of reality, our reality changes. I’ve performed this personally when I’ve felt overwhelmed by each of the chores I feel I have to do. Amazingly, some get done, some don’t, while some just don’t seem so important. I’ve had times when my daughters and daughters-in-law would offer to complete several of the baking. I’ve learned to just accept help and reply with a grateful “Yes!” This technique is priceless in most aspects of life, not just the holidays. Legislation of Attraction is unfolding and orchestrating all that must afflict bring me my desires, Now.
